After watching a Rhystic Studies video called “RED DECK WINS” in Summer 2022, Anushanth was bitten by the bug and his descent into the depths of competitive Magic began. He jumped straight into Modern with the according deck choice — Boros Burn — and kept on developing his skills. After adopting Temur Rhinos as his new and more competitive deck by Summer 2023, he managed to qualify for the SUL Invitational 2023 (where he experienced one humbling defeat after another).
Other than being a Magic upstart, Anushanth is also a Karate black belt and Karate referee. Equipped with a healthy dose of patience and an unhealthy amount of obsessiveness, he continues to expand and improve his skills in both his passions.
